Barry Large
Chattanooga businessman Barry Large has been named chair of the Erlanger Board of Trustees, bringing decades of entrepreneurial and financial leadership to the role.
Large is co-founder and managing partner of Dynamo Ventures. Before launching the venture capital firm, he co-founded and served as chief financial officer of Access America, a logistics company that grew to $500 million in annual revenue before merging with Coyote Logistics, a UPS subsidiary. He also helped found Steam Logistics and Reliance Partners, both Chattanooga-based logistics companies.
In his new role, Large will help guide Erlanger’s strategic direction and continued growth. He also remains active in Chattanooga’s startup community through Brickyard and serves on several local civic and philanthropic boards.
“I’ve spent my career helping build companies that serve this community well,” Large said. “Erlanger is Chattanooga’s first hospital and one of the region’s most important organizations, and I’m ready to bring that same energy to help its continued growth well into the future.”
