The Hamilton County Health Department announced its Soddy-Daisy clinic will shut its doors for the last time June 30.

Staff members at the clinic will not lose their jobs but be reassigned to other branches, Sonia Calvin, interim administrator for the health department, said in a news release.

The 30-year-old clinic will be replaced by a mobile health unit that can be deployed to various locations throughout the county. The department cited a decline in clients since the pandemic.
