A Grundy County, Tennessee, woman in custody on charges stemming from a fatal collision with a cyclist in Palmer, Tennessee, shared posts about the deadly incident online prior to her arrest.

Haley Layman, 25, is accused as the driver who struck Bobby Dan Green at the intersection of Rock Avenue and Main Street on Monday, according to a news release. Layman’s arrest was the result of a joint investigation by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office with help from county Constable Kyle Collins, drug task force agents and the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

On Tuesday, Layman, of Palmer, shared a post by an apparent family member of Green’s who was trying to get the word out on the search for the hit-and-run driver, then reposted a notice from the sheriff’s office seeking the driver in the incident that killed Green. Layman was arrested later that day, according to authorities.
