With four months remaining until kickoff of Tennessee’s 2025 football season, all the season tickets in Neyland Stadium are spoken for.
The university announced Tuesday afternoon that 70,500 season tickets to the 101,915-seat facility have been purchased. This is the third consecutive year in which season tickets have been sold out well before Volunteers games have been played, but it’s only the fourth time in the last 24 years with a gobbled up inventory, with 2016 being the only other year.
Tennessee is 30-9 the past three seasons under coach Josh Heupel, going 11-2 with an Orange Bowl victory over Clemson in 2022 and posting a 10-3 mark last year that included a loss at Ohio State during the first round of the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff.
“Vol Nation continues to lead the way as the best fan base in all of sports,” Tennessee athletic director Danny White said in a release. “In this era of college athletics, it is almost unheard of to sell out over 70,000 season tickets for three consecutive seasons. The ‘Neyland Effect’ will be in full force on Rocky Top this fall!”
The school announced a 97.8% renewal rate for season tickets this year and that there is a season ticket interest list right now of 23,755.
