For the third year in a row, Hamilton County school board members gave Superintendent Justin Robertson positive marks in his annual performance evaluation.
The rating was based on his performance on metrics that fell across 10 broad categories — strategic planning, student achievement, school leadership, community relationships, business and finance, board relationship, staff and personnel relationships, fairness and ethics, facilities and safety, and district management.
Board members were asked to rank Robertson’s performance on each metric on a scale of one to five. A score of one meant his performance was significantly below expectations, a score of three meant he was at expectations, and a score of five meant he was significantly above expectations.
The scores from board members averaged to a rating of 3.8 out of 5, up from 3.66 last year.
