In Northwest Georgia, a lane on Interstate 75 will be closed near Ringgold for several hours on Friday.
The right lane of I-75 northbound between Exits 345 and 348 will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. as Georgia Department of Transportation workers make repairs, said department spokesman Mohamed Arafa.
Maintenance crews will fix deteriorating asphalt patches, he said, but the times for the work are subject to change depending on the weather.
Travelers are urged to call 511 to report any other road projects on interstates and state routes.
