Representatives from the Environmental Protection Agency and the City of LaFayette will be at the LaFayette-Walker County Library Tuesday afternoon to answer questions about the Barwick Mills fire.

They will be on hand from 3-7 p.m. at the library, which is located at 305 South Duke Street in LaFayette, according to a news release from the library.

Residents who live near the sight of the fire, which began Saturday afternoon, were advised to stay indoors on Sunday night while EPA officials take air samples to determine the impact of the plume.

School children, the elderly and those with breathing problems were told to stay inside Monday if the smoke was overhead.
