Ralph Dill, one of Harrison's oldest residents, turned 100 on April 10. For many years, Mr. Dill had been an active member of the Harrison community, involved in the Ruritan Club, Harrison First Baptist Church and coaching sports. As the family gathered to celebrate his birthday, it sadly became a quite different occasion. Just one day after his birthday, Mr. Dill passed away. Our sympathy goes out to his family.
The Murray Hills Garden Club has planned its yearly plant sale on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the corner of Murray Hills Drive and Highway 58. Perennials, annuals, vegetables and herbs will be available for sale.
The Harrison Elementary School reunion that was scheduled for Sunday, May 2, has been postponed. I will pass along the new information about this event as it becomes available.
