Schools start back Wednesday and, for some kids, it is all brand new as they start first grade. We all remember our first-grade teacher and we have some great one's here in District 3.
Here is a breakdown of our elementary schools and principals: Neelie Parker at Big Ridge; Anita Coleman at DuPont; Karen Hollis at Ganns-Middle Valley and Sandra Jerardi at Hixson. There are nearly 1,700 precious children attending these four schools from grades K-5.
Take advantage of the back to school tax-free shopping this weekend and watch out on the roads for all the kids going back to school Wednesday.
