Explosion in Calhoun injures man

A man is Chattanooga hospital after a small bomb exploded at his home in the Ranger community in Gordon county.

Andrew Durley, 23, was airlifted to Erlanger hospital with serious burns Monday night after a small improvised explosive device detonated at his home, police reports show.

Gordon County sheriff's deputies are still investigating the incident but have no suspects at this time, Gordon County sheriff Mitch Ralston said in a news release.

GBI explosive experts are also investigating the incident.
