Bradley commissioner's business searched by feds

Federal agents searched the Highway 64 flea market business of Bradley County Commissioner Howard Thompson after receiving information about the possibility of stolen goods there, authorities said.

A man suspected of carrying stolen goods was stopped by authorities. The man gave them information that led them to search the flea market on Wednesday afternoon, Bradley County Assistant District Attorney Stephen Hatchett said.

Thompson had not been charged with any crime as of Thursday afternoon, Hatchett said.
