KNOXVILLE -- Da'Rick Rogers has maintained publicly that he's still committed to Georgia, but the Calhoun High School wide receiver star has spent the past two weekends visiting Southeastern Conference rival Tennessee.
One week after officially visiting Knoxville with Yellow Jackets quarterback and UT commitment Nash Nance, Rogers again traveled North with his close friend on Sunday for the Volunteers' basketball game against Florida. The teammates arrived in snowy Knoxville late Saturday night with Nance's father, and they stayed until Sunday night.
Rogers, rated one of the nation's top overall prospects by every major recruiting service, will officially announce his college choice on Wednesday's national signing day with a press conference at CHS.
The Nance family has adamantly stated several times that Rogers would be under no pressure from them to sign with the Vols, and that Rogers has simply shown more interest in UT recently.
Nash Nance had been committed to Vanderbilt before switching his pledge to the Vols last week. No verbal commitments are final until prospects fax in a national letter of intent.

It would be great to see you sign with the Vols, Da'Rick.
Da'Rick what you waiting for this is big time progam and play time right away........Hope to see you in ORANGE........GO VOLS
Da'Rick, be a real rennaisance man and come be a part of the resurgence of the University of Tennessee football tradition. The next 3 or 4 years will go down in UT history as "The Post Kiffin Era". You can help create this history, write your own story. It will last you a lifetime. Go VOLS!!!!!
Excellent article ... this is what makes the recruiting season so very special and interesting .... getting to know our Vols before they become Vols. Obviously Rogers is a special player, but also a special young man ... his relationship with the Nance family and more importantly the approach they, the Nance Family, have taken shows the love and respect they have for him. As a member of the Vol Nation, I wish you, Mr. Rogers, the very best in all you do ... with your ability and character then add desire, hard work and determination, you have a great future. Here's hoping you think Orange on signing day, but if not, make the most of college. The most important part of this segment of your life is to get the very best education you can ... Good luck.
