Georgia: Murray parents file bullying suit

An Atlanta attorney says the parents of Murray County High School junior Tyler Long have filed suit in Rome, Ga., federal court seeking unspecified damages in bullying they say led to the boy's Oct. 17 suicide.

Parents David and Tina Long "claim violations of Tyler's due process and equal protection rights, violations of the Americans with Disability Act and Vocational Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and a state law claim for public nuisance," a release from Atlanta attorney Winston Briggs states.

The school systems has 20 days to respond.
