The Chattanooga Nature Center will host its Wolf Pack Camp the week of July 26-30 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. for children ages 7-8. Cost is $145 for members and $175 for non-members.
Wolf Pack campers will help prepare food for the nature center's animal ambassadors, then watch them eat it. They also will go on a canoe trip, visit the bamboo forest and wallow in a mud pit. They will spend a day experiencing what it's like to be an American Indian child of long ago. Campers will enjoy five fun-filled days of nature games, activities and crafts. Celebrate Recovery at Lookout Valley Baptist Church will be tonight beginning at 6 p.m. It is a Christ-centered recovery program for hurts, habits or hangups such as anger, codependency, drugs and alcohol. Dinner is at 6 p.m. for $4; worship is at 7 p.m. ; Openshare Groups at 8 p.m. and dessert fellowship at 9 p.m. A nursery is provided. For more information, go to www.lookoutvalley.org.
