DUNLAP: Update for Chamber website approved

by Winston D. Pickett

The bid for an update on the Sequatchie County-Dunlap Chamber of Commerce website has been approved by the City Commission and Video Ideas in Chattanooga will rebuild the site on the current web address. The reconstruction will be in two phases and, when completed, will contain video with sound and be in hi-definition format. Links to all existing sites will be continued with new links added that should make it easy to find the Chamber from any location. Phase one should be viewable in about four weeks.

The Southeast Development District announced that money is now available for recreation projects and County Executive Michael Hudson is seeking funds to re-condition the tennis courts at the county park.

The Car Show sponsored by the cancer support group was a big success. They had more than 120 cars to register and sold lots of food. Officials said the event made $4,055.
