Wamp announces service academy appointees

Seven students from Tennessee's Third Congressional District were appointed by Congressman Zach Wamp to attend the country's service academies.

They will begin their studies this summer.

"These students have earned this opportunity by exhibiting strong leadership qualities and excelling inside and outside of the classroom," said Congressman Wamp.

"They will soon begin the rigorous education at our nation's service academies to become officers in the military, bound by the common bond to serve our country with valor.
