The Rhea County Fair will host a "Rhea County Mow Down" lawnmower race event on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. at the Ag Center across from Rhea County High School in Evensville. Fair Secretary Caroline Housley said the races have been a popular part of the fair for the past two years and the fair committee wanted to give the community a preview of this year's fair. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children.
Congratulations to the Dayton Chamber of Commerce and all who produced another outstanding Strawberry Festival earlier this month.
