Lookouts win 10-6, even series at Carolina

ZEBULON, N.C. — Jaime Pedroza, Kyle Russell and Brian Cavazos-Galvez each went 3-for-5 as Chattanooga defeated the Carolina Mudcats 10-6 in Southern League baseball Tuesday night.

The Lookouts (11-8) squared the series entering tonight’s finale.

The game was tied 6-6 entering the ninth inning when Russell’s one-out infield hit scored Pedroza with the go-ahead run. Cavazos-Galvez doubled to left field to score Scott Van Slyke and Russell and give the visitors a three-run cushion.
