A Hamilton County jailer and her two daughters were arrested late Thursday evening, according to a police report.

According to police, jailer Arnetta Jones-Eady, Lanetta Hudson and LeAnn Jones were all arrested for assaulting Christy Fitch after Fitch called police about her child being picked up from daycare by Marcus Jones, the child’s father.

After finding out that Fitch had reported the incident to police, Jones-Eady, Hudson and LeAnn Jones went to Fitch’s Poplar Street apartment where Fitch was held down by Jones-Eady while Hudson and Jones beat her, according to police.

Jones- Eady wasn’t on the scene when police arrived but instead returned to work following the assault, according to police.

Police said, Jones-Eady and her two daughters were subsequently arrested for aggravated assault and two counts of simple assault respectively.

According to police, the custodial interference case is still being investigated and no charges against Marcus Jones have been filed. The child in question was eventually returned to his mother.

What will be the fall out of this frenzied beat down? Who knows? I do know it cannot have any positive effect on the child.

Well, hopefully if this is how she handled inmates, they will show her some love once she is on the inside.

WTF?! What in the hell is wrong with people? Every body just needs to calm down and act like human beings instead of complete animals. Have some dignity. This behavior makes me sick.

ctfpfan08 and papergirl... I am so with you guys. I mean, what kind of animal has her kids hold down a woman and beat her for no reason? I am physically sick at the thought.

And when there IS a reason, such as retribution for an unwarranted attack on an innocent person, now committed by violent prisoners on a former guard? That I can get behind!!

I stand with both of you on abhorring this tragedy, thanks for speaking up!

I hope the inmate population can, indeed, show them some.."love"!!

XGSBoss, this happens in jails all across America at the hands of jailers all the time. Why are then surprised what happens in jail doesnt stay in the jail, but transmits into the general population?

The Michigan Supreme Court recently ruled that the sheriff's dept. and county where a woman was raped by a sheriff deputy is not legally and financially liable for the rape. Although, the rape occured while the deputy was on duty and the woman was being held at the jail. This jailer had a lot of priors too, but the M. Supreme Court ruled there was no forceable way neither the sheriff dept. nor the county could predict this obvious criminal with priors was capable of committing such an act. dah! hint! hint! priors domestic violence, a history of assaulting inmates. But his daddee was a high ranker in the sheriff dept.

I'm with the ones who want to see this jailer get a preferential beatdown when she's locked up on the other side. She should be fired immediately from her job as a jailer. That kind of conduct is totally uncalled for and cannot be tolerated.

If an individual with such authority over others is capable of doing this to the mother of her grandchild one can only imagine what she's done to inmates at the jail. No wonder the inmate 'suicide' rate is said to be so high at the county jail.

This jailer ain't gonna do any time for this, hell she might not even lose her job. Get real, she won't even be in contact with other inmates while waiting to be bonded out. The county jail is a very dangerous place and the conditions are much worse than the conditions at the Humane society. It says something about our society when we treat dogs at an animal shelter better than our human captives who have yet to be convicted of the charges that are holding them.

Not all thugs are jailers and not all jailers are thugs, however, too often actions along these lines are becoming a familiar and dangerous trend among law enforcement types. In this instance, this miscreant/Mom who instigated the attack is a jailer and when given her day in court should be held to a higher degree because she is employed in the business of law enforcement, but that being said, I would suggest the fact, Arnetta Jones-Eady is a jailer, is merely coincidental and her actions have nothing to do with her employment, just business as usual.

Maybe so. However, These incidents are becoming the norm for law enforcement and seem to be reflective of the miscreant types that are being hired these days and generally giving law enforcement a bad name. Take the California homeless man, described as mentally ill but gentle, who was basically beaten to death by 6 cops even as he pleaded for his life and called out for his dad.
