Two men, including a murderer with connections to Chattanooga, escaped from the Robertson County Jail in Springfield, Tenn.
Jessie Lobbins, 26, and Joshua Caldwell, 29, escaped from jail Wednesday, according to Deputy U.S. Marshal Danny Shelton.
According to Shelton, Lobbins, who was convicted of murder, has connections to Knoxville, Chattanooga, Memphis and Murfreesboro.
He and Caldwell escaped out of the roof of the jail and left in a red 1995 GMC pickup truck with a Tennessee license plate reading 855-TDG, Shelton said.
Along with the murder conviction, Lobbins also was convicted of carrying a firearm in relation to a crime of violence and tampering with a witness, victim or informant. Known to be a member of the Traveling Vice Lords Nation gang, he was serving a life sentence in prison.
Caldwell was convicted of conspiracy to distribute marijuana and methamphetamine, Shelton said.
The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of either escapee.

One of these days the news papers that report escapes will put the a mug shot in with there article.Let the public see what they look like so if they see them they can report it.
