I don't trust giving to large charities because of waste, embezzlement, and fraud. This is a great way to give to families that most likely need help.

Yeah, helping families pay for toys for their kids is a whole lot better then helping hungry, homeless people.

Excellent attitude, littleoleme2. As they say, no good deed goes unpunished. Good thing you're here to remind some of us that our charitable donations aren't as thoughtful and meaningful as yours ;-)

By the way, KMart sells items other than toys. Maybe some parents, gasp, put clothes for their children on layaway...

Rather than be skeptical, let's just be happy for those who have received such a wonderful Christmas gift. May God bless you, and have a very merry Christmas, secret santa(s)!

Merry Christmas, indeed!

Absolutely a wonderful way to help people in need. It would be great at anytime of the year as well. Of course if the federal government has its way there will be no money to help the truly needy, only the needful politicians and bureaucrats. Wishing all a safe holiday from Purple Law Firm in Chattanooga

I apologize for my suggestion that giving money to places like the Homeless shelter, the Salvation Army, or Goodwill, might reach more really needy people.

You folks are right, more toy box filler is way more appropriate.

Merry Christmas to all--including you eastridge8.
