A two-vehicle crash at 7700 Old Lee Highway claimed an unidentified man's life Monday, according to Chattanooga Police Sgt. Jerri Weary.
According to Weary, a second person involved, Russell Turner, 62, is in critical condition as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
Turner was driving eastbound in a Dodge van on Old Lee Highway when the unidentified man heading westbound went into the eastbound lanes, striking Turner's van, according to traffic investigators. Investigators say the impact killed the unidentified driver and critically injured Turner.
According to a report, investigators are trying to locate family members of the unidentified driver to make a positive identification. No charges will be filed in the case, according to police.
