National Guard helicopter crash in Campbell County kills 2 pilots

A Tennessee Army Guard helicopter crashed late this afternoon in Campbell County, Tenn., killing the two pilots aboard, according to a news release.

The crew of the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior Helicopter was conducting a routine training flight, and the cause of the 5:30 p.m. EDT crash is not yet known, spokesman Randy Harris said in the release.

Names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin, he said.
