ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Casey Anthony has been released from a Florida jail, 12 days after she was acquitted of murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter.
Anthony got into an SUV after leaving the Orange County Jail in Orlando early Sunday morning, leaving in the company of her attorney Jose Baez.
The 25-year-old Anthony was found not guilty July 5 of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee in June 2008. But she was convicted of lying to detectives about the girl's whereabouts. When Caylee's disappearance was reported in July 2008, Anthony told detectives several lies, including that she had been kidnapped by a nonexistent nanny.
Caylee's remains were found that December in woods near the home Casey Anthony shared with her parents. Her attorneys say that Caylee drowned in the family pool.

Blame the state for putting together and prosecuting such a wishy-washy case.
She was judged to be not guilty by a jury of her peers. No one commenting on here was in that court room. No one saw this whole case. Children get murdered every day in this country, the only reason anyone cares about this one is because cable news channels told you to. Let it go.
She is walking free because of all of those constitutional rights that we have. To all those people who are so upset about her walking free, do not say one more word about how great you think the constitution is.

Simpson, but look how white America came out swinging attacking blacks all across America when he was found not guilty by reasonable doubt. Some of you even wanted to change the entire court system and the constitution. You didn't think the constitution was all that great back then. People have been convicted and sent to deathrow with far less evidence brought against Casey Anthony. Some have been executed. But they weren't middle-classed white, cute and had a father as a retired cop.

Choick. I dont support the girl. Shes guilty of some damn something, if its not murder. The thing is, its not my damn job to persecute someone whos been aquitted by her peers. OJ was guilty as hell, and there was plenty enough to convict his ass. But, I choose not to go out and riot and kills 58 people and burn down the town I live in, when things dont go the way that I think they should. The State of Florida should have taken a step back and waited for new developments as far as a confession or new evidence. But thats just me being an arm chair lawyer.
OJ got off because the DA made a major mistake asking him to try on the gloves. Leather shrinks after it gets wet. DUH. But our laws say he was not guilty, so be it. She is not guilty, so be it. Nothing is about race in either of these cases. I think both of them got away with Murder. But if this is they way of our system then that is it.
