Kenco names Coakley to post

Kenco, a Chattanooga-based provider of integrated logistics solutions, real estate services, and material handling equipment, has named Sean Coakley as senior vice president of sales and marketing.

Coakley will set strategic direction for sales and marketing activities for all of the Kenco operating companies.

“Sean’s experience in the industry is a valuable asset to the Kenco team,” said Andy Smith, Kenco’s chief operating officer. “He shares the sensibility of Kenco’s culture and he is ideally suited to further the ‘best practices’ that are a hallmark of Kenco.”

Previously, Coakley was with Ryder Supply Chain Solutions for 10 years where he held positions of increasing responsibility within the sales and operations departments.

His education includes a bachelor’s degree in political economics in 1995 from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in international administration in 1997 from Central Michigan University.

Shared Health names Corry

Shared Health Inc., a provider of health information technology solutions based in Chattanooga, has selection David B. Corry as its regional sales executive.

Most recently, Corry served as a sales manager at Healthcare Management Systems Inc.

Hedge Burt, vice president of sales for Shared Health, the company is “pleased to welcome him to the Shared Health team, and we look forward to the contributions he will make.”

Corry will market and sell Shared Health's services to large payer, employer, government and community-based customers and identify additional business development opportunities.

Brewster gets recognition

Alan R. Brewster of Ringgold, Ga., a representative for Modern Woodmen of America, is one of a small percentage of life insurance agents to achieve membership in the Million Dollar Round Table.

MDRT is an international, independent association of more than 35,000 members, who demonstrate high-level client service and production.

Life Care appoints Craig

Life Care Centers of America, a nationwide skilled nursing and rehab company based in Cleveland, Tenn., recently appointed David Craig as vice president of its eastern division.

That announcement was made by Chris Mitchell, chief operating officer, who said Craig began his new duties on July 11.

“David brings a wealth of long-term care experience and is an exceptional leader,” said Mitchell.

Craig most recently served as regional director of operations for Grace Healthcare Inc. in Chattanooga where he was responsible for operations in 10 nursing facilities.
