A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with the shooting death earlier this month of another 17-year-old.
Lonta Burress was arrested Sunday at his grandmother’s house and charged with criminal homicide, Chattanooga police said.
He is currently in the Hamilton County Jail.
Burress was charged in the death of Darrius Townsend, who was killed at 900 Taylor Street on June 1, police said.
