Police investigate murder suicide at Athens, Tenn., business

Police are on the scene of a murder suicide at a business in Athens, Tenn.

Two people were found dead at Faye Innovative Waste Solutions on East Avenue about 2:45 p.m. today, said Athens Police Chief Chuck Ziegler in a news release.

Police haven’t released the victims’ names or the weapon that was used.

The crime scene is secure and the investigation is still in the early stages, Ziegler said.

And at this time the state is getting ready to pass a law that will allow employee's to carry guns at work! Maybe that law should be reconsidered!!
