A jury has been selected in a federal methamphetamine trial being held in Chattanooga.

Gregory Allen Mercer faces four counts — conspiracy to manufacture and distribute meth, possession of pseudoephedrine and related chemicals, possession of equipment to produce meth and meth manufacturing.

Prosecutors accuse Mercer of manufacturing and distributing meth between 2006 and 2009 in East Ridge and Catoosa County, Ga.

A dozen codefendants also are charged in the case.
