Man arrested in Ooletwah on California sex charges

A man was arrested in Ooltewah on Tuesday on outstanding warrants from California, police said.

Jimmy Hutton, 24, was arrested on California charges relating to sexual acts with minors, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Janice Atkinson said. He was taken to the Hamilton County Jail and will face extradition to California.

Detectives from Hamilton County assisted officials from the Tustin Police Department in Orange County, Calif., with executing an arrest and search warrant at 9234 Hopi Trail in Ooltewah, Atlinkson said.

Hutton was arrested at the residence, and detectives also found child pornography images there.
