For the second night in a row, Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting.

Kenneth Eady, 44, called police shortly after 8 p.m. from 2709 Roanoke Ave., saying he’d been shot in the hip, according to police spokeswoman Sgt. Jerri Weary.

Eady told police his stepson Marcus Jones and another man came to the residence, where Eady and Jones got into an argument.

At some point during the spat, Jones pulled a gun and shot his stepfather, Weary said.

Eady was transported to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Warrants have been issued for Marcus Jones. Weary said police are trying to identify the other man who was with Jones at the time of the incident.

My God.....How many more shootings will have to happen before people wake up? ...and the "income producing" tourists will show up to see the big blue pull toy before or after they've read about the gun violence in our great city? Time to wake up and do something besides trying to annex everything, Honorable Ron
