Chattanooga firefighters put out early morning car fire in EPB parking garage

Chattanooga firefighters were called to the EPB parking garage on M.L. King Jr. Boulevard early this morning where they put out a car fire.

According to Capt. Rick Boatwright, the car was located on the sixth floor and was fully engulfed in flames.

Officials said it took five minutes to get the blaze under control and that no damage was done to the building.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is unknown.
