East Lake Academy started classes at its regular schedule after Chattanooga police cleared the school following a bomb threat.

No bomb was found.

The block surrounding the school at 2700 E. 34th St. was cordoned off this morning as officers searched the school, police dispatchers said.

Police had finished searches and cleared the school in time to start at 9 a.m., school officials said.
