Shooting victim found on Searle Street

Police are investigating a shooting on Searle Street that left a man injured, dispatchers said.

The call came in around 7 p.m. today. Emergency responders found the victim in the 2200 block of Searle Street, though it wasn’t known if the shooting occurred at that location.

The man’s injuries were not thought to be life-threatening, but he was taken to the hospital, dispatchers said.

No information was immediately available on the victim’s identity or the circumstances of the shooting.
