A Polk County man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of another man who was found bludgeoned to death in a garage.
Chad Warner, 35, has been charged in the death of David Garner, 42, who was found dead on Feb. 4 in his home on state Highway 123, according to a release from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Garner was found lying in a pool of blood with a head injury, authorities have said.
Warner, who is in Polk County Jail, confessed when questioned by investigators, the release stated.
