Up to 4 inches of snow expected in Eastern Tennessee tomorrow morning

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the mountains of Northeast Tennessee and Western N.C., until noon Tuesday.

A trough of low pressure will dig into the mountains of Northeast Tennessee and Western North Carolina as the coldest air mass of the season settles into the region. Snow showers are expected to develop Monday night through Tuesday morning along with gusty winds.

Accumulations of 2-4" possible above 2500 feet along with sub-zero wind chills Monday night in the highest elevations. Dress appropriately and prepare for blowing snow and low visibilities if your travel plans will take to these areas.
