Missing East Ridge Alzheimer's patient found at Chickamauga battlefield

Update: 66-year-old Franklin Alvarado has been located by park rangers at Chickamauga battlefield national park in Ft. Oglethorpe, East Ridge Public Safety Director Eddie Phillips said.


East Ridge police need your help finding a missing Alzheimer's patient, who walked away from his home Monday.

Public Safety Director Eddie Phillips says 66-year-old Franklin Alvarado disappeared from his John Ross Road home Monday afternoon.

Phillips describes the man as 5'4", 145 pounds. He was wearing khaki pants, a white t-shirt, white tennis shoes, and a navy jacket.
