UPDATED: Chattanooga police seek public’s help on recent robberies

Chattanooga police officials said they believe the same group of men aged 16 to 25 is responsible for a series of robberies at local businesses since Sunday. They want the public’s help in arresting the suspects.

As many as five businesses have been robbed since Sunday, said Master Patrol Officer Nathan Hartwig. Among the businesses robbed were a Family Dollar store, a Taco Bell, Mr. T's Pizza and two Krystals.

In two incidents, employees were injured: at the Krystal on Highway 58 on Monday and at the Taco Bell on Rossville Boulevard earlier today.

Police did not disclose the amount taken during the robberies.

Hartwig described the suspects as between the ages of 16 and 25 and weighing between 140 and 170 pounds. All were between 5 feet 7 inches and 6 feet tall. They all used handguns during the robberies.

Police ask anyone with information to call the police department at 698-2525.
