One of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department’s 12 Most Wanted fugitives was arrested Friday and charged with child rape.
James Andrew Jackson, also known as James Andre Porter III, 29, was arrested by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department’s fugitive unit, according to Janice Atkinson, spokeswoman for the sheriff’s department.
He is charged with raping a child between the ages of 3 and 13 on May 28, 2011, according to his arrest warrant.
Jackson is listed as one of Hamilton County’s 12 Most Wanted, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department website. He was wanted on charges of domestic assault and criminal trespassing in addition to the charge of rape.
Jackson is being held on $100,000 bond.
