A McMinn County man, already convicted of sex crimes, has been charged with new counts of rape and incest, authorities said.
William Holcomb, 46, of County Road 882, was arrested May 17 and charged with rape, incest and violations of court-ordered sex offender requirements, said Sheriff Joe Guy in a news release.
The state Department of Children’s Services alerted McMinn authorities that a 15-year-old had accused Holcomb of raping her, Guy said.
A convicted sex offender currently on Tennessee’s Sex Offender Registry, Holcomb was booked into the McMinn County Justice Center where he remains under a $101,000 bond, Guy said.
