The 2012 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival got off to an early and smooth start with many of the expected nearly 80,000 fans arriving early.
Organizers opened the first gate Wednesday afternoon at 3, according to Coffee County Sheriff Steve Graves.
“Everything has gone smoothly so far,” he said this afternoon.
Inside Centeroo, people were playing volleyball, eating, getting acquainted with the grounds and finding shade.
