The National Weather Service has confirmed ratings for Friday's tornadoes.
The Harrison tornado in Hamilton County was classified as EF3, which includes winds up to 165 mph, the weather service reported Sunday.
Tornadoes in Monroe and McMinn counties, as well as Cherokee County, N.C., were categorized as EF2, with winds of up to 130 mph.
The weather service said the Monroe County tornado had a width of 400 yards and persisted for nearly 15 miles.
