KMT Creative names 2 designers

KMT Creative Group has expanded its professional team with the hiring of a graphic design professional and the promotion of another designer.

Chris Loizeaux, who joined KMT in May 2011 as a graphic designer, has been promoted to the position of junior art director. He has more than 10 years of experience as a designer, with a portfolio that includes national clients such as Coca-Cola, Early Times Distillery Co. and several top Bassmaster Elite professional anglers.

Dave Lefkoff has joined KMT as a graphic designer. He has more than 10 years of experience, including agency work with clients such as Sears, Kmart, Whirlpool and Eureka. Most recently, he worked for a print solutions company, handling design, pre-press, and quality assurance responsibilities.

Decosimo part of ranked group

Moore Stephens International Limited, an international association of accounting firms that includes Chattanooga-based Decosimo, is ranked 12th in a combined list of networks and associations as its fee income increased to $2.2 billion, a report shows.

"We are proud to be a part of one of the largest international associations of accounting firms in the world," said Nick Decosimo, firm-wide managing principal of Decosimo and a Moore Stephens North America board member.

Whitworth joins Comfort Supply

Comfort Supply, one of Tennessee's largest wholesale distributors of Ruud heating, ventilation and air-conditioning products, has named Jeremy Whitworth as its Chattanooga branch manager.

Whitworth's previous experience includes serving as Chattanooga branch manager of Noland Co.

"Jeremy is an experienced wholesale distribution sales professional, and he's a huge asset in helping Comfort Supply provide customers in the Chattanooga area with quality products and services at competitive prices," said Comfort Supply President Clay Blevins.

Kennamer named among top 7

Jay Kennamer, of McMahan Law Firm P.C., has been listed as one of the top seven most prolific trial attorneys in Tennessee for 2011 by the Tennessee Jury Verdict Reporter.

The list reflects the number of jury trials conducted as the lead attorney during the calendar year. The number and ranking do not include his trials out of state. Kennamer has been practicing law for more than 20 years.

Local HDS Vans recognized

HDS Vans & Mobility was recognized by the Tennessee Survivor Outreach Services for supporting surviving military families in the Chattanooga area.

Col. Patricia Jones, director of the Tennessee National Guard Military & Family Readiness Operations J9, and James "Russ" Maxey, Army SOS Support Program coordinator, presented a plaque to Michael Dresdner, owner of HDS, and Jeromy Stroud, branch manager of the Chattanooga store.

Regions Financial issues new stock

Regions Financial Corp., the parent company of one of Chattanooga's biggest banks, launched a $900 million stock offering last week to help the bank repurchase the $3.5 billion of federal loans it received under the Troubled Asset Relief Program nearly three years ago. Federal regulators approved the recapitalization plan in January.

"Our capital position will be strengthened even further with these actions, which will enable us to continue growing profitable customer relationships," Regions CEO Grayson Hall said.
