Police nab 3 suspects in Red Bank, Chattanooga robberies

Three suspects are in custody after Red Bank Police Department and Chattanooga Police Department conducted a joint investigation regarding two home invasion robberies this week.

Authorities found a weapon used in the robberies as well as a “significant amount of stolen property.” Some of the property was from separate crimes, they said.

Gary L. Jones and Maurice A. Lansden, both 19, and a juvenile suspect were charged with two counts each of aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, aggravated kidnapping and theft over $1,000.

The robberies took place early Monday morning at 5750 Lake Resort Drive and 305 Valley View Ave.

In one case, one of the victims was bound and gagged while the assailants ransacked the residence for items including electronics. In at least one of the robberies, two victims were held up with a shotgun.
