Marching bands from three Southeast Tennessee high schools will be seeking trophies at the USBands Southern States Championship on Saturday, Nov. 3, at Finley Stadium, 1826 Reggie White Blvd.
The Soddy-Daisy High School Band, Cleveland High School Band and Sequoyah High School Band from Madisonville are among 29 units competing. Besides Tennessee, there are bands from Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi and North Carolina represented. Spectator admission is $14.
Bands will be performing every few minutes following the national anthem at 11:45 a.m. The Madisonville band is scheduled to perform at 3:11 p.m., Cleveland at 3:45 p.m. and Soddy-Daisy at 6:09 p.m. Awards will be presented at 8:55 p.m.
