Philly singer guest for free Noble concert

The Noble Neighborhood Association will sponsor a community concert by Philadelphia singer/songwriter Scott Pryor at 6:30 p.m. today, Nov. 1, in the fellowship hall of Center Point Baptist Church, 118 Center Point Road, LaFayette, Ga. Pryor, who is on tour throughout the Southeast, sings about the life experiences of ordinary people. He has been described as a modern-day Woody Guthrie whose songwriting "lends itself to cinematic storytelling." Admission is free, though contributions to the association are welcome. For more information, call association president David Boyle at 706-764-2801.
