Update: All buildings now cleared following bomb threat at UTC

UTC has now cleared all buildings after receiving a bomb threat earlier this morning.

Earlier today UTC sent out text alerts about a “threat” made against several buildings on its campus.

The university then sent out an email that had “bomb threat” in its subject line and asked that the areas be avoided until further notice.

Buildings involved were Grote, Holt and Brock halls, the University Center and Lupton Library.

The Chattanooga Police Bomb Squad inspected these buildings and cleared them to be re-opened.
