City offering two winter break drivers education courses

Applications are now being accepted for the city of Chattanooga’s winter break drivers education courses.

Two courses will run Jan. 2-5 from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. each day. One course is planned at the Shepherd Community Center, 2124 Shepherd Road, while another is planned for the South Chattanooga Community Center, 1151 West 40th St.

City residents between the ages of 15 and 22 are eligible for the $50 course.
