Knoxville-based blues bands Jenna & Her Cool Friends will perform at the historic Palace Theatre, 72 S. Main St., in Crossville, Tenn., T 7 p.m. CDT Friday, Aug. 2.

The band was born in January 2010 when vivacious vocalist Jenna Jefferson gathered her "cool friends" for a musical collaboration.

Others in the band are "Detroit" Dave Meer on guitar, Keith Ford on guitar, Michael Crawley on harmonica, Glyn Loyd on bass, Kevin Redding on drums and Ben Maney on keyboards.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students.
