Celebrities and others raise money and run all over the world for the publicity of helping others when the need in America is just as great. Foreign aid to buy friendship of another country is a waste of money but our leaders borrow and give it while reducing assistance to Americans. The answer that it cost more to stop the waste and fraud than it would save is why it is a growing problem. Do you know who is paying for Medicaid? Would you be willing to pay higher taxes for the huge number recently added to Medicare? How can those truly in need be identified and those abusing and using denied?

Fox still bats first in the 25 - 54 demo (for news shows) which at present is the target. However the over 65 demo is the fastest growing and they have the greater disposable income. Advertisers are starting to realize the shift and are starting to compensate.

Just love it when conservatives accuse progressives of not being able to "think for themselves". By its very definition, a progressive is open to debate on new ideas or advancement. Likewise, a conservative tends to stick with the status quo, the existing or traditional order. Conservatives do not have to think for themselves, someone has already done it for them. Strangely though, many conservatives who call themselves christians and supposedly follow the traditional,(conservative), teachings of Christ, are loathe to help their fellow man as instructed by Christ.

Why is it I am the only one looking for facts and finding them

Judging from the above I would guess it’s because God gave you the really big brain ... Right?

None the less let’s look at the credibility rating from that time period. You would think if Fox News had a credibility problem it would be most pronounced under the Fleabagger heading... Right?

From your link:

From 2000 to 2008 here are the Fleabagger losses of credibility for T.V. news sources.

CBS = -10%

ABC = -9%

NBC = -6%

FOX = -8%

PMSNBC = -7%

CNN = -13%

With numbers like that and after 5 years it would be reasonable to find that Fox now has higher credibility, even with Fleabaggers, than CNN, ABC, and CBS. Why don’t you use that big brain to prove that as true or false but using somewhat less stale data this time... O.K.?

Jt, when Fox was proclaiming the polls showed Obama had little to no chance of winning reelection, I questioned credibility. O'Reilly had polling experts on his show in October and early November saying that Obama had no chance of winning VA or FL and they were considering those states solidly in Romney's favor. There were claims by Hannity, Krauthammer, and other commentators that "Mainstream Media" polls were biased and they were oversampling democrat voters. You had Rove's refusal to concede OH to Obama on air. I will admit, I watched Fox News for their coverage of the election and man, they missed it big leading up to election night and I think they instilled a sense of false hope in voters that were against Obama. I also question their credibility when it came to how they handled the Megyn Kelly, White Jesus comments.

I’ll have to admit that I no longer try to contact my representatives, both state and federal, by phone. It was never a sure thing, if at all, so I have entered the 21st century and deal with them through social media and e-mail. Maybe the “big brain” should try it as you get a much more timely response to your requests or suggestions.

Why don’t you regale us, or make up a believable lie, about the last earth moving phone conversation you had directly with your federal representatives... you have done so? .. haven’t you? ... did you sob from intense concern?

Most polls are still favoring Hillary Clinton to be the 2016 Presidential winner, despite an all-out damning by Republicans in order to damage her reputation.

Among those identifying themselves as Democrats, President Obama still has a 70% approval rating.

ObamaCare will start ironing itself out after the first of the year and his numbers will rise, pluse the man has three full years of his term to turn things around, and he will exit on a high note, despite all that the Obama bashers try to do.

I'm not the one making wild-ass accusations about the current administration. I support the President of the United States, no matter what party. It comes from taking an oath three times "to uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic". I have often defended President George W. Bush against extreme left-wingers. I support the decisions of our precious democracy. I guess you have to see the edge of the free world to understand.

I have no qualms about prisoners being held in Guantanamo until they die. They were "unlawful combatants" and have absolutely no international rights, no rights under the Geneva Convention, nor rights under the U.S. Constitution. They can burn in hell for all I care. Break out the water boards!

I have said on this forum before that I think President Bush's real legacy has yet to be realized... the roots of democracy that he planted in the Middle East. The Arab Spring is totally a result of his decision to take action. Saddam Hussein had to be stopped. Democracies on both sides of Iran is taking its toll.

I want to believe that in another hundred years, democracy will have expanded across Arabia and peace will be the result. How long did Europe fight amongst themselves??? Now that democracy has prevailed... a lasting peace has too. That will be President Bush's legacy and gift to my great-grandchildren.

Not a lie at all. I'm quite sure that he had no idea what insurance companies would do or that they would use the law to dump blocks of policies that made them little to no money, in favor of selling more lucrative ones.

You morons who want to saddle Obama with knowing it to be a lie, offer that argument that is just as meaningful as all the other crap you shovel.

Should it have been reworded to assist those to understand the reality of the situation who have absolutely no imput into their health care insurance decisions? Perhaps.

Was it a lie? Hell no. This nation has a great many stupid people who apparently need to have things explained to them like a five year old.

As to the rest, who for some reason or another, have found themselves to be canceled by their insurers, their gripe is with those insurers, who made their own decisions to cancel.

Blame the President if you must. Most people understand that no President is a God, and therefore does not control private enterprise to the degree that they believe is at all possible.

"Gassy, you think Fox should have suspended Megyn Kelly?"

Truth, Fox, just like A & E is an employer and they have to make the decisions that best benefit their brand. It's their decision to make not mine.

That being said, I think Fox tried to spin the crap out of the issue. First, Megyn did not take to the air the day following the comments. Second, when she finally took back to the airwaves, she honed in on the "White Santa" comments. She mentioned the "White Jesus" comment once in a five minute commentary. Third, Bill O'Reilly did the same exact thing. He made it seem as though the "White Santa" comment is what had everyone unraveled. He wouldn't have even mentioned the "White Jesus" comment if it wasn't for Juan Williams. So much for the "No Spin Zone". IMO, poor decision by Fox.

Jt, I'm not trying to "throw anyone under the bus". Just stating a fact; Sarah Palin is an idiot. It's public record, the evidence is astounding.

Look Truth, we live in a society with a short attention span. The best scenario was to push it under the rug and hope Obamacare (and now the Duck Dynasty guy) preoccupies their viewer's attention and most would forget about Kelly's comment.
