A 31-year-old Atlanta man pleaded not guilty in federal court today to charges he transported a Maryland woman to two states for prostitution.
Khari Matthew "King Black" Troutman now faces a May 7 trial date after his Jan. 19 arrest.
State prosecutors turned the case over to federal agents earlier this month. If found guilty, Troutman will face more severe penalties in federal court for alleged sex trafficking.
